Extended Warranty Cl600
What do you think about purchasing an Extended Warranty for a '04 CL600? My warranty expires in October and the extension will go up to 85,000 miles and/or 3 more years. It covers everything with 0 deductible for an extra $3640. I know its a lot of money but I've only had this car for about 3 months and it seems OK but if the ABC goes out or one of the turbochargers it'll cost a lung. I had one suggestion about taking the $3640 and put it away collecting some interest, if something goes bad then you just pull from the fund. But we all know what MB charges and the cash could go pretty quick. So, whats the consensus on repairs for a CL600?
Thanks, Spiker

RE: Extended Warranty Cl600
I purchased the extended warranty for my 2002 Cl 600.......$15,000 worth of bills later I would say it paid itself off nicely. you cannot AFFORD not to have it. It only takes (1) problem and your money is gone! These cars leak oil and when they do bad things happen: Firing bank shorted, messed O2 sensor up, ABC lines leak!!! UGH .,,selling mine as soon as it is out of the shop,,again

RE: Extended Warranty Cl600
2002 CL600 hereand my bills the last 12 months were $23K. So pay me now or pay me later. For $3500 you can rest easy, I assume this is the MB extended Warranty right. Do it. Sleep better plus you got turbos to worry about.
I have the MB extended warranty so all was covered. ALL! It costs the previous owner the $3K for the warranty, and it transferred to me when I bought it.
