Default ABC Memory Problem & Instrument Cluster

I recently bought a 2001 CL 500 that has been nothing but problems. The power steering pump went out and was replaced at an independent shop. When they tried to reset the ABC warning message, it would not reset due to a prior problem with the reset button. I found that the instrument cluster had been replaced and called the dealer who said there was a 10 year warranty on the instrument cluster. When I got to the dealer, they said the instrument cluster was warrantied for illumination issues but not for reset button problems. They said they needed to reset the instrument cluster to clear the ABC warning message since the pump had been replaced. After trying, they said the ABC module had its memory erased and they needed to do a $400-$500 calibration that is done on an alignment rack. They also said I need to buy a new instrument cluster. Does anyone have any info on these problems?
