im trying to find a CD player which will be compatible with the cars wiring', also the steering wheel volume control etc.

I tried to buy one from Halfords and they didnt seem to think they sold one.

Would anyone else know if im upgrading my Car Stereo do i need an extra lead as well as Facial for the dash, ( single din?) in order for me to use steering wheel?

I have a Mercedes C220 CDI, I changed my mercedes radio for a double disk pioneer CD/Ipod player. The cost of the Cd player was £250 (which is reasonable) BUT it cost me another £350 on top for the adapter cable. You can get a single CD player but dont be surprised to pay extra for cable.

I got mine done at Car Audio, they specialise in car radios...

 

hi, do you know what cable it is you bought, ie product number or name?

im under the impression that the cable or signal is sent via fibre optic....

not sure wht this all means but im trying to educate myself on this , as its both important and relevent..
