windshield washer nozzles
Can anyone please tell me if my 94 c280 has heated windshield washer nozzles? I read the manual and it said they are automatically heated. But today when I tried to clear my windshield, only three nozzles worked , then two, then one......

I am sure they went frozen because it was -17 degree C here. If my care does have heated nozzle, how can I fix them? Please advise. Much appreciate it.

I'm 99% sure they are heated. Open the hood and look at the base of the washer nozzles, you should see 2 wires going to each one. Those wires go to the heating elements in the nozzles. They also clog up on occasion and need to be periodically cleaned out with a piece of safety wire.

The easiest solution if either those things are not the cause (-17 ° is quite cold, no warmer can work efficiently under those conditions) : use the blue-colored whindshield fluid (us$0.97 a gallon at WalMart) neat in the washer canister, or make a 7:1 mixture of distilled water and isopropy alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and charge that in the canister (so much more expensive than the blue stuff...). Both will strip your wax, so wax regularily the areas where the run-off falls.
