Hi All,

I have been searching high and low for instructions on how to pull out a factory installed power mast for my '97 C230

My mast broke off and I can't seem to get the cable out even after powering it on or off so I need to take out the power mast assembly.

I unscrewed the bottom bolt and the grounding strap from the unit, I also have the antenna mast out, by unscrewing the bolt that holds that on, but after that the power unit did not pull out after I gave it a few tugs. I'm afraid of breaking something. Is there another screw/bolt somewhere? Do I pull of the outer boot seal first or do I just keep pulling harder?

I came across some threads, but they do not tell me how to get the mast out.

If someone can point me in the right direction to something with more details or a picture that would help immensely.
