Speedtronic Inoperative
Model CLC 220 CDI 2007 FSH.
So I was doing 75mph yesterday and all of a sudden ESP, ABS warning appeared, the speed odometer died, almost *h*t myself. I pulled over to the hard shoulder, turned the car off and got Speedtronic inoperative break wear signal, ESP and ABS inactive warning. The car was stuck in first gear. Took it MBD, who claim that it might be fixed if I change the whole unit that drives this functionally at a whopping £900+ labour

Is this feature a common fault?
