hi everybody

I have a mercedes model c220 cdi, when the ignition is switched on the glow plug indicator light comes on for little
period of time then goes off ready for cranking the engine. When the engine starts, the glow plug indicator light should go off. Due to a fault the glow plug light comes back on again and stays on for approximately one minute and then goes off. This fault occurs everytime you start the car in cold or normal temperature conditions.

Please can anyone help?

 

you need to have it checked with star diagnosis to see the actual value such as temperature sensors and fault codes.

we have 7 kinds of C220 CDI. it will help if you indicate the first 6 VIN number.

 

I have the same issue with a 2001 E220 CDI, anyone have a solution?
