common repairs with the C-class
The C-class vehicles are great cars, but over time some repair issues can be expected. Here's an article that explains more:http://www.carchex.com/research-cent...ss-problems-2/

Icebreaker: I'd love to do that, but we need more participants to make it possible.
We've updated our reliability stats for the C-Class to include owner experiences through September 30, 2015. In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:
2015 C-Class: 58, high
2013 C-Class: 4, low
2012 C-Class: 31, low
2011 C-Class: 10, low, small sample size
2010 C-Class: 53, moderate, small sample size
2009 C-Class: 69, moderate, small sample size
2008 C-Class: 52, low
2007 C-Class: 44, low, very small sample size
2006 C-Class: 43, low, very small sample size
2005 C-Class: 73, moderate, small sample size
2004 C-Class: 81, moderate, very small sample size
2003 C-Class: 55, low, very small sample size
2002 C-Class: 58, low, small sample size
We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds", to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop:
2013 C-Class: 96, < 1
2012 C-Class: 71, < 1
We'll have further updates in February and in May. Additional participants are needed to provide precise stats for all model years.

We've updated our reliability stats for the C-Class to include owner experiences through the end of 2015, about eight months ahead of other sources. In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year--lower is better:
2015 C-Class: 65, high
2013 C-Class: 11, low
2012 C-Class: 41, moderate
2011 C-Class: 30, low, very small sample size
2010 C-Class: 67, moderate, small sample size
2009 C-Class: 73, moderate, small sample size
2008 C-Class: 38, low
2007 C-Class: 37, low, very small sample size
2006 C-Class: 25, low, small sample size
2005 C-Class: 74, moderate, very small sample size
2004 C-Class: 90, moderate, very small sample size
2003 C-Class: 61, low, very small sample size
2002 C-Class: 67, low, small sample size
No stat, or a small sample size? Then we especially need more owners involved for that model year.

We've updated our reliability stats for the C-Class to include owner experiences through June 30, 2016. Reliability information elsewhere is based on a survey conducted in April 2015--well over a year ago.
Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year (lower is better):
2016 C-Class: 22, moderate, small sample size
2015 C-Class: 48, high
2013 C-Class: 20, low
2012 C-Class: 28, low
2011 C-Class: 20, low, very small sample size
2010 C-Class: 57, moderate, small sample size
2009 C-Class: 85, high
2008 C-Class: 31, low
2007 C-Class: 48, low, very small sample size
2006 C-Class: 47, low, very small sample size
2005 C-Class: 51, low, very small sample size
2004 C-Class: 29, low, very small sample size
2002 C-Class: 64, low, small sample size
We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds", to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop:
2015 C-Class: 70, 4
Additional participants would be especially helpful for model years with small sample sizes.
