On a 2004 C230 Kompressor Sedan
Does anyone know when the Fuel Tank Reserve Indicator light comes on, how much fuel/miles are left? If the menu tells this somewhere, where is it? I have owned BMWs in the past that would tell you how many miles you had left to the tank. I am a newbie to Merecedes and I can not figure out where/if it gives me that info.

One of the computer screens tells you things like mpg, distance traveled, etc., including how many miles worth of gas you have left in the tank. (That depends on the very short term and current consumption rate). My 2001 C240 has 2 gallons of reserve. I believe the C230 has the same. I find the estimate to be eerily accurate. I ran out of gas one time, 10 feet from the pump when the "miles left" showed 0 for the last few minutes in traffic before I could make a left into the gas station.
