hey guys ,, I'm a newbie . I'm looking at purchasing a 2005 230c from an auto auction, car looks good in and out however it has NO key at all
need suggestion where to order a smart key other than dealer if possible
any options or ideas Gracias... also any diagnostics software I can get and would be helpful ?

 

Hello, I live in the San Diego area and their a lot of Mercedes here. I too am a new Mercedes owner an 07 C230, which I bought with one key, I have called about 25 different places for a key, or to program a key and everybody says the same thing, you'll have to go to the dealer. So I called a Mercedes dealer and he quoted me $251.00 bucks for a new key. Mercedes does not let anyone program their smart keys but them. I wish you luck.

 

$251 for a new key is cheap! I recently bought a 2014 C250 with only 1 key. I called my local Merc dealer and they wanted $520 + tax! Mine is a Keyless Go btw.
