Battery drainage overnight??
I had a problem with my 2001 C320 about two weeks ago not starting. No electrical power to anything. So I replaced thebattery and now two weeks later it is doing the same thing,.Have to jump start it and then it will restart within certain time limits, but will not start when left overnight. Any suggestions, I hope it is not the Command Unit?? Took it to a non mecerdes dealer and they said could not work on it, so guess I will have to take it to the Mercedes dealership.

RE: Battery drainage overnight??
Most auto parts stores such as Checker, Pep Boys, Auto Zone, etc. all have the equipment to check your starting system in the stores
and they are happy to roll it out to your car and check it.......for FREE. That's right. They do this as a service to sell you the correct part
you need, not just what you THINK it might need. This machine can check the voltage of the battery, the alternator, etc. and help eliminate
one or the other. For years, people have guessed that these kinds of problems were this or that, and bought the part that did not need to
be replaced. It's not a substitute for taking it to a dealership, but.......hey.......what's there to lose if it's free? Right? Can't hurt to try.
