Hi All you bright people, I have just bought a 2001 c230k, if the car isnt used for about 36hrs the battery is flat, I have had a local sparks look at it and he thinks its the drivers seat control box, this has been disconnected and at the moment the batt. is holding its charge.
I hve been onto mercs and they quote about £280 for a new box.
Has anyone had this problem and by changing this box will it cure the fault.
Obviously while the box is disconnected I have lost the seat controls and it was one of the features that I liked when I bought the car because carol and I have totaly different driving postitions

yes changing the drivers seat control module will fix it...ive changed a lot of them...just look out for the pass side seat control module doing the same thing in the future...

Thanks for your reply, do you know the best place to buy one of these parts, I have contacted our local merc. dealer and they have quoted about £300.
