Default Air mass flow sensor

I have a 2002-mod c200 kompressor which doesn't work properly because of a defect mass air flow sensor. I keep changing them, but they last only for like two days. This causes my car to have little power(4 sec. [:@]slower 0-100km/h). Anybody who know what the problem might be???

Thanks, norwegian dude.....

Default RE: Air mass flow sensor

it can't be air mass sensor.

all the five wires goes directly inside the engine control unit and no other connection.

not unless there is still a pressence of voltage to the hot film after you turn off the ignition, that it will burn it due to exterme temperature.
but it's impossible.

how many milliseconds is the frequency of injection time now? (a/c off)
how much is the voltage of air sensor at idle (a/c off)

Thanks Sleepwalker! I suspect the engine control unist to cause the troble, because it has happend during driving. It smells a little burned, like something is on fire. Maybe the voltage sent from the engine control unit is too high, causing the sensor to burn. I'm going to the workshop for diagnosis soon. If it's the control unit I hope to get it for free on the warranty(the car is reg. in may 2001). If not, it will be very expensive for me[:@]. Do yoy think the problem is too high voltage???

Thanks, norwegian dude......
