My daughter's C230 Kompressor will not start. The problem began as surging of the engine, loss of power, and stalling. My local mechanic suggested cleaning the MAF sensor. I bought the real MAF sensor cleaner and cleaned the sensor. After that it would not start, so I assumed I ruined the sensor somehow and bought another one. I installed it and nothing changed. The car will not start. I tried putting about a teaspoon of gas down the intake and that made no difference.

 

I am firmly convinced that Mercedes Benz are the most over priced boat anchors in the world today.
If someone gave me a new mb, free of charge with the stipulation I could not sell it, but had to pay for all the work it takes just to keep one road worthy, I would tell them to stick that cheap piece of plastic and over engineering where the sun don't shine.
The only car I have been associated with that was made of cheaper plastic was a 90's eagle talon.
On top of that very little works on this car. As a matter of fact the money it would take to fix everything broken or not working properly is more than the car is worth.
Every person I know who has owned a mb has had nothing but problems and was in the shop constantly. NEVER, ever will I waste my hard earned money on another piece of crap like this.
As a matter of fact I have owned an audi and a volkswagen and they were pieces of crap too.
Have fun spending your money at the mb service center.
