I have a 2002 C240 and it sometimes idles rough( incase you didnt get that from the title). Only when im stopped at a red light or a stop sign do i notice it. Ive seen a few other people post this as well. Has anyone been able to find a solution to this. The car has a very smooth ride and when it does this it kind of kills it for me. Makes me feel like I am not driving a Mercedes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I know you're not going to like this answer, but.........there is such a wide range of things that could be causing this,
without diagnosing the engine first, you are going to spend way more money and time replacing things that aren't bad.
First make sure no codes come up on a code reader, which many parts places and shops will do for no charge at all, hoping
you will buy parts from them or have the car fixed there. Secondly, look for a dependable independent to diagnose it. It might
even be something relatively simple and inexpensive. Why waste money on things you don't need, when you can just fix
what isn't right and be done with it. Of course, my opinion.
