Can anyone tell me where the heck the fuel pump is located in this car. Is it in the fuel tank? Help! C230 Fuel Pump 2000'

 

Yes, and it's not a job you want to do at home in your garage either.

I just had this done, as you might have seen me post about it.

EXPENSIVE little devil, too. Labor is high as well.

Be sure to have them (or you) check the fuel pressure up at the engine (easily done) to pinpoint the need for a new
pump before you have to take out a second mortgage on your home to have one put in.

PS>mine lasted 146K miles. When they go, they go. The car will not run. And they go suddenly.
