"Check Engine Light" Question
Hi Everyone! Please help! I took my 98 C230 into Mercedes for service/oil change and they told me the following needed to be repaired/replaced:
A) Alignment
B) Front Brake Pads
C) Air FIlter
D) Serpentine Belt
E) Brake Fluid Flush
F) Belt Tensioner
G) Belt Tensioner Shock.
I had all work done except for the fluid flush and alignment. I drove the car home and it was fine. Next morning I got in the car and the Check Engine light was on. Any chance any of the work could have caused the light to go on? Am going to have the codes read in the morning but wondered if the work could be linked. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
