Diesel purge and use Marvel Mystery Oil in fuel 4 oz./10gal ratio. DieselGiant.com has the lubro moly diesel purge and MMO at many auto parts stores. I would also remove the manifold and remove as much of the deposits as possible and use a shop vac while you are mechanically removing the deposits. Keep in mind that if you use any sprays or liquid product they must not be combustible since the shop vac has open brushes and would be unsafe in that condition. Also use caution when breathing any hydrocarbons; the vac is better than air hose for this deposit removal process. You also need to get the deposits out of the glow plug chambers. Mercedes shop use a glow plug reamer for this .
