wiper removal, 300E

Default wiper removal, 300E
Need help with removing front wiper assemble on my 1993 300E, I removed the wiper arm and 1/2 moon gasket but cannot figure out how to remove the oval plate. I can feel two small screws on the underside but not sure if that is the next step.
