Default W203 C230 Kompressor Alarm problem!

hey guys!
I have a 2004 c230 kompressor 1.8 SC .When I press the lock/unlock buttons on the the remote key nothing happens, first I thought that the remote's battery was dead, i had it replaced but nothing has changed, so I went to check the fuses and i found out that fuse#8 in the fuse box located in the trunk was blown, so i took it off and once I put the new one in, it blew up right away, then I knew that i have a short in the car somewhere but the big question is WHERE ?!!

If there is somebody who would help me getting the wiring diagram that would be a great start and it would be much appreciated

i seem to remember me having this issue one time and the problem was the wiring at the rear window liftgate. open the liftgate and remove the trim panels around the glass. inspect the wiring without moving it around and look where the harness is contacting metal clips. mine was on the passenger/righ side and the wires were touching a metal clip where it rubbed threw the harness.

Default Any technical help is appreciated !

Dear chassis221,
since you are familiar with these cars, would you be able to send me a wiring diagram for the alarm system? I know that I have short to ground somewhere, but I need to locate it in what section in the car . I have ALLDATA program but its not helping me at all! .
To me it is much easier and faster to start from zero by tracking the wires instead of just taking the car apart and visually look for it, thanks for you in advance.

Dear TEAMREDLINE,
I'm sorry to hear that you have the same problem and I'll be glad to work with you and anybody else to fix this up, but can you tell me how did this happen with you (ie: any job was done to the car prior this incident?)
thanks,
