guys guys,
i am new to this forum but am badly in need of help and advice.
i have been using the Masterpiece(124) for 15 years and now recently bought a already used E230 year 1997 in 2005.It was all ok for some time as usual the enjoyable ride then the steering wheel started to give some issues.ANd one of the so called merc specialist took in my car to do it and till now the problem has not been solved-there is significant vibration in the sterring wheel.i have changed most of the things in the steering wheel components.and even changed my shock absorbers and tyres.i use 45/225 tyres and mine is the Avantgrade model.please help!!What could be the problem/issue here, as i can feel the vibration of the road on my steering wheel which makes the ride so much uncomfortable.

 

Contact www.gullwing.com.au, I have found them brillant. They explained why I was having the problem and that they could fix it. The so called tyre technician decided that my E230 Classic 1997 had been in an accident and that I would have to see a smash repairer. Gullwing are on the Gold Coast in Qld, they deal in new and used parts. I live in Brisbane but am in Mt Isa at the moment and having the part I need now, to Mt Isa. Good Luck.
