SRS reset

Should SRS light come on after battery change on 2001 C320? Is it possible to set SRS light after battery change w/o going to dealer?

Hi,
Best practice is to keep a small battery attached across the battery terminals (use crocodile clips) whilst you change the main battery. Doesn't help if main battery is totally dead.
Saves a lot of hassle (and cost).
