removing OVP relay
Hi I am having trouble removing the oerload relay in my 1987 300e. It wiggles but it wont slide out. There arent any brakets holding it down. How should I go about removing it? I have a new one to put in and I havn't been able to use it.

RE: removing OVP relay
Hi.
It should pull straight up.
You can see from the new relay how it is held in place with 4 or 5 Lucar blades.
Maybe it is corroded in, in which case you will have to try to pry it out CAREFULLY.
CAREFUL you do not short out the connections (to ground or to one another) if you chose to use a screwdriver blade twisted sideways to dislodge it.
