I have a 1999 E320 with several cracks in the dash. Anyone know of aftermarket dashes for this model or remedies?

Check Performance Products, performanceproducts.com, they have good quality dash covers. Just be careful because there s a lot of junk out there that doesn'y fit. I recommend not trying to fix it, as the repairwill never look perfect.

I had mine replaced under warranty in 2001. It cracked along the line for the passenger airbag. They told me it was a silent recall item for my 1999 CLK430.

Id have to agree with AlbertM, having it replaced will never look right and would just be a lot of money.

I think they sell dash repair kits with different colors to match the color oy the existing dash. I have a small little one on mine by the defroster, i want to fix it before it gets any worse.

You can buy dash repair kits. I have been there and I do not recommend them. The repair sticks out like a sore. What is interesting is that the kitsuse solids to fill the voids, but it does not expand or contract at the same rate as the dash material, so in cold weather you get a gap. When it gets really hot the dash will push it up.

I really recommend a dash cover. If you get a good one, you really can not tell that its a cover.
