I troubleshot my clk430 factory stereo until I can't any longer. I decided after changing out the cd changer in the trunk and checking the fiber optic light to see that it was working correctly, I would check the amp. The amp has a fuse and it was ok and was not connected to the fiber optic line. I decided to just change out the deck and get rid of the fiber optic crap and the cd changer. I used a wiring harness made for the car so that I would not have to cut the factory wires. The deck functions as it appears it should, but I still have no sound. I can't figure it out. What could be wrong? Have I missed a fuse somewhere for that is not in the normal place? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
