I have a 85 190E with elec sunroof which just goes back not up. It does not work at all if I push the button on the dash. It works fine if I go to the trunk and manually operate it with a wrench so that eliminated a broken cable. How do I go about troubleshooting the switch and the motor in the rear and is there a fuse, wither in line or in the fuse box for this sunroof? It seems like I am getting no power to the motor. There are 2 wires coming from the motor-one black and one green-I assume black is ground and green is positive. Thanks for any suggestions

 

just pull out the wire put 12v to try the motor is working .green wire and black wire just indicating forward and backward only... you should have some idea now .
if motor work then use to be the sunroof track pin broken one or both side s .then cost you 3-4 hundreds parts only[&o]
they should have fuse at the side of the trunk 1/4 panel
