Halogen Bulbs to LED / HID?
Hi everyone:
I want to improve the headlights on my ML320 (2002). It currently has halogen bulbs and the lighting experience is not good.
Has anyone had experience in replacing halogen lamps with LED or HID? Do I need to replace casing? Ideally, I just want to replace bulbs for better experience. I do not want to change the look of the car.
Thanks,

How many Watts?
Thank you for the reply.
I will try to simply change to white bulbs and see how that goes. The specs call for 55W bulbs. Can I increase the Watts or is that a bad idea? If so, to how much?

Thank you for your message. I was not clear. Since I am not changing the whole casing, I understand I can't (shouldn't) change the bulbs to LED or HID. So, I was going to try white halogen (instead of the regular halogen) and I was wondering what would happen if I change to bulbs with a higher wattage (higher than the 55W specified in the manual).
Thanks,
Thanks,
