Sweet! A dyno thread on an MB forum. That means I gotta share the beast...

This was at Stay Classy Atlanta dyno day 9/1/2012
Its my 81 240d M4 all stock
49 HP
77 Tq
I tried pushing harder on the pedal... didnt work

This was on a Mustang dyno. They tend to read 10-15% lower than Dynojet.

I was inched out for the lowest HP trophy by a 74 240d auto

ForcedInduction is the only person I have seen post real numbers. There may be some out there but I haven't run across them. Just a lot of people talking about what they are going to do. Facts work for me.

Forum talk is worth the paper its written on. A dyno run takes about 2 hours and less than $100 (depending on where you go). It gets rid of any subjective Butt Dyno™ guesses based on arbitrary benchmarks that can't be duplicated independently for comparison purposes.
One guy on a fruit-named forum is basing his "improvements" on the MPH his car can reach while going up a local hill...... No standardization, no atmospheric data, not even the name of the street/hill so other people can verify his method's validity.....if his car can do 45mph up that hill, how do we know if thats a really good modification or if his vehicle is performing below that of a normal stock vehicle...or if he isn't actually doing anything and is just pulling numbers out of his ***?

I have the dyno computer info for 6 of my 8 runs if anyone ever wants to review that data directly. The last two runs I did were at an ATS dyno event so I couldn't get the raw computer data, they only provided a printout.
I haven't done a run since I reinstalled the MW pump, I might have to find someplace doing a dyno day and see whats changed since then!

Keep in mind I finished high school in the 90s. It seems that with all the factual info available today, many people are more comfortable regurgitating something they can't prove. I guess its easier and more pleasing to social circles, rather than verifying the information. Facts and emotions don't usually mix well. Thanks for sticking to the facts and sharing your results.
