About 2 weeks ago I saw a dealer in CT. advertising 2 in stock 2005 C55s for about $10K off MSRP. Is this common at year end only or are there discounts available throughout the year?

 

well, the dealers want to unload those cars by now. Figure that they probably had them since late summer/early fall of 2004 (and it's coming up on 2 years). January 3d of every year (from what I recall) is the 'year end sales report' due date. The date that determines the annual bonus that the dealership gets. So... there are a lot of loopholes that the dealer is willing to jump through, in order to get a bigger sales number.

That is how I got my car for $7,000 (12%) under MSRP.
