when should the petrol/gas light come on????</P>

i ran out and it never came on.</P>

where is the sender for this light?</P>


is it accessable from under the rear seat or is it in the boot or under the car?</P>


i could also have a blown bulb....</P>

It should say in your owners manual how much reserve fuel will turn on the lamp. If it's not working than you need to troubleshoot your gauge for a bad bulb (the low fuel light should light up when you turn your key to the on position) or a bad sending unit in the fuel tank...

Pulled out the dash and cleaned then re-seated the bulbholder.</P>

works fine now.</P>

It doesnt help not having an owners manual.....</P>
