it should have been better if you have included your VIN since i don't know if you got amplifier or not.

Hi
My car VIN is 4JGAB54EXWA015203
And what I want to do is make a auxiliar line input for a mp3 player. can't found any adapter or anyway to do it. I would like to user a cd changer input conector or get a line from inside the radio.

Did you ever succeed with this?

I run my iPod through a cassette adapter. Not the prettiest set up but sounds great. I also share it with my XM Satellite radio.

Ok sorry to waist your time but wondering if i can hook a AV/Aux in to the bose radio i have. Searched heaps on the net and have seen the hack for hard wiring inside which i dont want to do. I havn't been able to locate the amp yet which i think I saw a post about but I completly pulled all the stuff off yet. I did manage to pull the stez out and Was hopeing to use a connection there?

Did see a part to go on the connector but it had different colours to mine e.g. found this http://www.beckerautosound.com/1492.html which is similar to the manual i got with the car. also found this part http://www.whnet.com/4x4/cd-install.html now my colours are:

on the cd connection behind the radio (c - connector)
1 = white
2 = grey
3 = looked like a bare wire with the black tape used to hold the wires together
4 = red
5 = light brown
6 = looked bare with black tape again
7 = nothing
8 = blue
9 = yellow
10 = green

but at the other end for the cd changer the wires are in teh wrong spots. (if the same spots goes something like this)
1 = grey
2 = green
3 = white
4 = yellow
5 = bare with black tape
6 = blue
7 = red
8 = nothing
9 = brown
10 = bare with black tape

Is there any possible way I can do this??? any links that I havn't found. I have used a fm modulator and it wasn't that good sound, same for the tape attachments either. Wanted a hard wire thing which I can hook into.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks heaps.
