Same problem like others ....ASR light comes on while driving,
loosing power momentary...after restart it's OK.
Anybody with helpful hint?
I would really apprecite it!

regarding the asr problem , I had the same problem</P>
just open the connection to the car computer under the hood</P>
clean it and close it , it will be o.k</P></TD></TR>

You might have a brake switch problem. The asr light might come on when the brake switch in mercedes goes bad. This switch need to be replaced and the codes with it reset. I had the same problem and doing the above fixed my problem immediately. Make sure to buy an original mercedes swithc not an after market product. Mercedes has made enhancements to these switches so that they last longer
