Hi,
I am thinking about purchasing a 2002 ML500 with 43k miles.
I just want to know what the reliability is like. I had a 2001 Jetta VR6 brand new and if started to
turn into a lemon at 40k miles. I have a Lexus GS300 now and I have not brought it to the shop
nor has it had any problems whatsoever in the year and a half I have owned it.

I'm scared of German manufacturers assembling cars in the US.

Can anyone help alleviate my fears?

Oh and if anyone knows about the 2002 CLK320 any info would be much appreciated.
