I HAVE A 1994 S320 MERCEDES, I NOTICE THE OTHER DAY WHEN I WAS PARKEDI SAW SOME OIL ON THE GROUND. AFTER FURTHER INVESTGATING I NOTICEDLIKE A STREAK OFOIL COMING DOWN FROM THE TOP OF THE ENGINE WERE THE ENGINE COVER IS LOCATED. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THE PROBLEM MIGHT BE AND HOW DO I FIX IT.<IMG height=33 src=smileys/smiley6.gif width=17 border="0">

More than likely it's the head gasket. You may want to clean the engine and look closely at the rear passenger side area where the head attaches to the block. Very common for these engines!!!

Irregardless of what gasket is leaking it will need to be replaced. It all depends on which one that's going to determine how deep your going to have to dig into your wallet. Head gasket replacements for your engine range anywhere from $1,100 to $1,500 depending on where you take it.</P>
