I have a 02 S-500 and recently replaced the front brake pads, rotors and sensors and the instrument cluster indicator for the malfunction of the brake lining worn is still on. I can temporarily reset it, but it still appears in the malfunctions list and reappears at the next start up.

Anyone know how to reset it permanently. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

check if the sensor is properly installed.

check also if the brake fluid level is good.
