I have a Mercedes G500 with a radio problem. I replaced the alternator and battery. After that the radio started muting by itself. It will play sound for anywhere from five to fifteen minutes, sometimes longer, then nothing. Sometimes turning the key off and then back on and the sound comes back for a minute or two.

Has anyone seen this before? Anyone know what is wrong?

I sent the radio off for repairs, but it came back with the same problem. The repair shop believes it may be in the truck.
