While stopped with car running, the entire radiator and reservoir drained from right side (closest to driver side tire, opposite side from reservoir), apparently from the large hose on that side of the radiator. Does anyone have any cooling system diagrams to help diagnose the location of this leak?

Have already removed all engine covers below, but still cant pinpoint the leak. Water comes out one the side of the radiator adjacent to the upper radiator hose connection, or right around that area. LEAK WAS LOCATED!! Its the driver side radiator side tank. Fractured somehow. Has anyone every had the plastic side tank replaced - trying to asses the fix as opposed to a new Behr or Nissens unit.

Water drains strait from reservoir out the leak, but appears to be something other that a cracked radiator. Hopefully,.

Car is 2002 S500 W220 chassis, 5.0L V8

 

Hi, i have same problem on my S420 1995. second radiator ( i bought it used) leaked in the same place, driver side top plastic. I wonder if it is a weak place and my pressure reliaf is not working or it is just coincident.
