Problems with A160 (53 Plate) Automatic Gearbox
Dear All,
I'm a bit of a newbie to the forums but here goes anyway.
My wife has a A160 on a 2003 (53 Plate) 26,500 miles on the clock with FMBSH.
The car feels very under powered and takes quite a lot of time to change from 2nd gear to 3rd gear. I'm assuming that there could be a fault with the gear box. Would this be right?
Is there anything that can be done to the car that will not involve having the replace the gear box. (I've heard that the old A Class is prone to this problems) Wished we'd known about this b4 we brought the car.
