i have a epc error on the dash lights and the car is throttling itself for 500rpm to 1000 rpms and when i touvh the throttle nothing happens and it keeps doing it. the owners manual really doesn't say anything about this. help please. thanks

 

it has a problem witht the actuator potentiometer (throttle valve).

also if the value in accelerator pedal sensor is faulty, this problem will happen.

try shaking/moving those cable, and cleaning the terminals if it goes off.

your car is running on emergency "limp home mode".
