anyone try to put '03-'06 headlights into their '00 or '01?

 

i dont think the original 03 would work but you can buy ones that have the 03-06 look for 00-02 s-class of ebay for about $250 they look way better and are not very hard to replace. i would recommend getting those with HID kit if you dont have HID headlight makes huge different. i also got my mirror light replaced on my 2000 s430 with the clear ones but i wasnt able to do it myself (took it to a benz mechanic to replace them).

 

I took the orginal non-xenon lights out of my 2001 S 430 and replaced them with a set out of a 2005 (non-xenon) they plugged right in and work fine.

If you are trying to retrofit original MB bi xenons in your S-class, you will also need some extra wiring / connectors in order to make the bix work / fit.

Don't ask me for part numbers, that's something I can't help you with. But I know some modification is required to get them installed, because my brother used to do this himself. Also, reprogramming with stardiagnose is also needed when upgrading from halogens to bi xenons.
