How to change the rotors on a 98 420SEL
Greetings,
Can you please tel me how to change the rotors on a 98 420SEL? I have removed the break component but wen I try to remove the rotors it seems like they are glued on, is there another bolt I must remove, or do I have to hit the rotors hard with a hammer to remove them. PLEASE HELP. Any information would be helpful.
Thank you in advance

I assume you mean an 88 420 SEL. Did you remove the retaining nut in the middle of the rotor? I have never changed rotors on my 420, but most disc brakes have that retaining nut in the middle.
i was all time thingking of rotor on the ignition distributor.
just use heavy hammer, hit the flat surface alternately.
it is better if you let somebody do it for you because they don't care much... the car doesn't belong to them anyway

i thought you mean the rotor on ignition distributor. i got it wrong again.
anyway, there's no other screw that holds it. spraying some wd-40 on the middle flange overnight could help.
use heavy hammer to blow the flat surface alternately (just strong enough to shock it).
better ask somebody to do it for you. their blow is more effective since they don't care much... knowing it's not their car anyway.
