F/s 300 E
I've heard this is the best generation for quality built mercedes. It does have some inperfections as it would for being a 20+ year old car. However after looking on auto trader and seeing what these cars go for i don't think i'm asking all too much.
it has 169k miles on it. Reason for it being so high is Pops used the car to get from Suburbs of Philadelphia to North and South Jersey everyday. ALL turnpike Driving.
V6 3.0L Automatic
Recent tuneup
new Brakes
new ignition switch
6 disc Cd and tape player
heated seats
sunroof (will not move back due to cable broken but have a new one just not installed can put in before sale or you can do it.)
power windows and locks.
cruise control works perfect
Get from philly to maryland on a 1/4 tank of Gas.
Insurance for a 22 year old is 89 bucks full coverage( I am military though) don't see it being much higher.
the bad:
driver side fender has dent due to someone backing up into it at a bar and then driving away. (buying a new one in a week or so and will have painted so this won't be a problem)
driver side door has some rust at the trim.
no other rust on the car.
heat/ac likes to come off and on. (think it's due to a sticky switch. I just press the button and it goes off)
Will need new tires.
ALL in all what's listed is the only thing wrong with the car. It drives great and never has given my Pop or myself any problems. Would love to have it as a daily driver but I have a 91 Jetta VR6 and want to start saving for my corrado build.
Like i said i've seen some with the same mileage if not more go for 6k or more and i'm only gonna ask for 3500 Since It's mostly untill I fix all the body damage and then will sell for more. Just time and being in the military don't really mix.
I also have a chilton manual for to with it, as well as some receipts for when it was with my pop. Car is in Maryland right now for anyone who would llike to see it in Bethesda. Can and will drive it back to Philly if anyone is interested. I am negotiable on the price.
