Hi Guys,
My s500 has been in the bodyshop for a month and now i get no sound from the stereo and my cd says no disc and the radio and cassette have no sound either, is there a fuse or a code i need to reset, any help appreciated.

 

first off i assume its a W220, second,.... can you state the year of your vehicle, because there was a split in 03 and since then navigation units are widescreen and use fiberoptic cables!!

It is a 2000 s500

 

try pulling out your navigatin unit and check for loose connectors, especially try pulling units in the trunk, i had a similar problem, wires on my amp had loose connection!!

 

I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and everything seems to have been reset and working again.
