Default Tires for 2002 G500

Hello,

I have a 2002 G500 with Yokohama Geolander HT 265/60 R18 110V Original Equipment Tires. My G500 has 83,600km (~51,000 miles) on it and I am looking to replace the Tires. My primary use of my G500 is pavement and likely no off road use. I have been recommended to replace the original Tires with a set of four Yokohama Geolander HT/S 265.60 R18 110 H Tires. The HT/S is said to be a new and improved version of the HT Tire. The load Rating is identical 111. There is a difference in the speed rating from V to H which is minimal and both exceed the Maximum speed the G500 specifications claim it is capable of reaching. Our maximum legal speed limit is 100km/h (60 Mp/h). Traffic does move at 120 (70mp/h) quite often. Passing speed could reach 130km/h.

I would appreciate any comments from members what Tire they suggest as a replacement for my G500. I would like an all season nice riding and quiet Tire with good mileage potential.

Thank you for your time.

Brian

Keep the same or what was recommended. I have the exact G500 and offroad on the coast in sand. This may be about 30% off the trucks use, where the other is pavement.
