Registered today and wanted to say hi. I have been reading the forums for the past two weeks. I must say, a lot of useful info. I bought a 97 e320 about a month ago. A fine car. This is my second MB. First was an 86 300e, which was the best car I ever owned. It had 180,000 miles on it when it got totalled by a hit and run driver. Despite the high miles, that engine still ran like it was brand new. I was planning on putting 300K miles on it. It was a 5 speed manual transmission (dont see too many of those around!). I was able to do a lot of the routine maintenance on it myself. I got parts on the internet.</P>


Anyway, glad that I registered here. There's just something very special about owning an MB. I always plan on owning one.</P>
