Just brought the 2000 S430 and I have some questions:

1. I've heard that theres a way to bring your windows up and down with your remote key. I've tried holding the button down on the key and it hasn't happened. Any one know the instructions to this neat trick.

2. My SRS light is on in the dash and the AIR BAG lamp by the gear shifter is lit too. What does that mean?

3. I need to make a copy of my keys, whats the least expensive way to get that done. I think mercedes charges $400 for a duplicate. I was told that the ebay sold remote keys are useless. Is that so, or can I buy the key from ebay and have it programmed. If so which key should I buy?

4. What does the "E" setting on the door used for. Does it clear all the seat settings.

means your airbabs are not active since there's problem on it.
