On my 2002 S430 the trunk(boot) only opens to the part way level which is supposed to prevent contact in case something is installed on the roof rack. Is there a way to have it automatically open full way? It does not have the electric closing feature. Pulling on the trunk open button for more than 5 seconds as indicated in the manual does not work.

close the lid first. remove finger. push 10 seconds.
